‘Rebekah Shaman works specifically with plant medicines to help spread plant ‘consciousness’, and assists those in the concrete jungles to live more shamanically, reconnecting them back to Nature and the natural cycles and rhythms of life.
Over the past eighteen years she has worked closely with Ayahuasca, Cannabis and Cacao, the ‘feminine’ medicines. Having apprenticed with Ayahuasca in the Amazon by a traditional, indigenous Shaman in 1998, who called her in a vision at Machu Picchu, Rebekah returned to London to complete her training in the urban concrete jungle. She now facilitates traditional shamanic Cacao Ceremonies and ‘Living Shamanically’ workshops all over the world, and Ayahuasca retreats in the Peruvian Amazon to help awaken people to their symbiotic relationship with Nature. She is part of a not-for-profit hemp cooperative in England, which grows organic hemp, for seed, seed oil and CBD oil, and is a speaker and educator about it’s importance for medicine, nutrition, fuel and shelter, and runs a private shamanic practice.
Rebekah has a BA (Hons) in Study of Religions, and MSc in Developmet Economics, both from SOAS university, and a Post-graduate Psychology Diploma in the Human Givens Approach. She is also the author of the self- published book ‘The Shaman’s Last Apprentice.’
Through her ceremonies, Rebekah helps the plants bring their messages to each one of us, and makes traditional shamanic plant medicine ceremonies accessible for a new generation. Through her experiences with Ayahuasca, Cannabis, Cacao and other master plant medicines she can illuminate and bring wisdom on the importance of contemporary Plant Consciousness, Shamanism, and Ceremony for humanities future survival.’
